What should I be looking for as far as numbers go? And to ask the
stupid question...how do I do this? I usually set it to ~ factory then
tweak it as advanced as I can without pinging. And aren't Mopar
distributors fairly easy to change the advance curve in by springs or
weights or something? I'm good w/ general mechanical stuff but just
don't have any experience tuning carbs or ignitions at all.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
