If it is anything like an early hemi, there should be one in front of the distributor (inside block) for cleaning out the oil galley in the lifter valley. I will try to locate a poly and have a look.( may even be one under one of the bigger plugs removed from the rear or under a freeze plug in the front or rear of the block.)
