Self-Introduction: Bought car from original owner in 1985 for $800(!). It
was my daily-driver until 1992. Garaged continuously since then. Was
running fine when I put it away, but was starting to carbon-foul the plugs
frequently. (Valve guide seals shot?) 200K miles on original engine. My
13-year-old son wants to drive it in a couple of years, so it would be a
good father/son project. I used to subscribe to the Imperial Owners Club
newsletters for years. Now its time to make contacts again. May need some
