Try checking the fuel line. You may have old fuel hose that are prone to breaks into fragments and they jammed the fuel filter or the way to the carb. Try checking the fuel flow without the fuel filter on (ignite the engine while holding the fuel hose, see if you have plenty of fuel squirting out. If you have many, you should suspect the filter or the rest of the fuel line up to the carb (there is a chance that your fuel line or carb is clogged). If you have so little, it may be the fuel pump or it is time for cleaning the fuel tank.
