Left handed complements



That brings up a point which needs to be mentioned every once in a while:

Many of these older MOPARs have left handed threads on the left side of the
car.   When you take your car to a shop where the mechanics were born
yesterday, you have to point this out to the shop supervisor - I always have
him write it on the work order in large print.   Putting an impact wrench on
the wrong way will not only ruin the lug nuts/bolts, but it can and usually
does warp the disc/drum and make the car vibrate while stopping - then the
shop will disclaim responsibility and you're stuck trying to find
replacement discs or drums.
