CA "Black Plate"



This is contrary to my experience.  I searched this link without finding any
mention of this subject - can you be more specific?  The paragraph you cited
pertains to YOM plates, but not black plates (which are 63 and up, not 62.
62 is the last year for the YOM program).

I have registered 7 cars to their original black plates now, but I was
always made to show that the plates were original to the car.  If the law
has changed, it dilutes the significance considerably.
