Stripped screws

AUVECO (an auto hardware wholesale house) has sheet metal screws with small
heads but larger shanks.  For instance, if your visor screw was a #8, they
can supply a #10 screw with a #8 head, so it will look identical in use.
They even have #10s with a #6 head.  I keep a few in stock for problems like
this.   If you cannot locate AUVECO, go to a major body shop supply house,
such as C.R.Laurence - they stock all the AUVECO stuff.

Probably the folks who cater to the hobby with hardware also carry these
items - but that's a guess on my part, I just go to the source.

Also a great source for screws (including many screws with smaller heads), almost anything you could ever want and they take phone orders for small quantities is "Restoration Specialties."  They have a web site by the same name.
