Lou, On the overheating problem on the 59 Dodge. Check your sending unit for accuracy. Get it hot, than let it cool just enough to take off the radiator cap. Let them insert the true temperature gauge that is calibrated and it will tell you the true temperature. Then look at the gauge right a way and see if it is giving a reading that is correct. Also did you back flush the engine? The heater core could be blocked and back flushing the engine will clean it out. Ron |
