Re: [Chrysler300] Storage and Critter Control

Once upon a time I began to hear some scurrying under my home. Upon
investigation I found signs of rats or mice via the dropping they were
leaving. I also found that they were getting under the home because of a
damage to a small screen in one of the vents in the foundation.

So off I went to Home Depot to buy some Dcon rat poison. Bad idea. It
killed some of the critters(turned out they were rats) but upon their demise
they did not just conveniently lay out on the floor where I could retrieve
them for disposal.

Nooooooo, they would head off for the various nooks and crannies of the home
where they could not be found, die and of course decompose. I need not go
into the rest of the details, but I did have a rather upset wife and we had
the windows opened for a few day.

I then found the Rat Zapper. Shaped like a very small bread box, has
batteries. You place food in it(I used some of my dogs Pedigree), the
varmint enters for dinner, there are 2 metal plates on the floor of it--one
positive, one negative, and ergo one crispy crittered critter.

A small led light on the box illuminates to notify you that you have mail,
you empty the box of your catch and prepare for the next intruder.

I have no more rats(got 3 with this device) but I also have repaired the
damaged screen.

Do a Google search, but here is a description.
