As a child in the 1950's, I remember travelling in the back seat of my
father's red 1954 Red Ram Hemi Coronet sedan on many trips from our home in
Toms River, New Jersey to New York City. We always took the parkway and the
turnpike. The state police used Chryslers. I remember a long row of 1955 and
1956 Windsors at NJTP HQ. As I grew up, there were always new Chryslers up
to the early 60's, when they changed to Dodges and Plymouths.
